S7’s new low-cost subsidiary to begin operations in July 2022

MOSCOW, Jul 28 (PRIME) -- A new low-cost subsidiary of S7 Airlines will begin operations in July 2022, Chairman of the board of directors and core shareholder Tatyana Filyova said at a news conference on Wednesday.

“We plan to launch flights in July 2022,” she said.

Filyova added that it will be a separate company with an air operator certificate that is to be recovered on the basis of air carrier Globus.

She also said that Globus will not be the name of the new air carrier.

In 2019, Siberia Airlines and air carrier Globus finished merger to operate under the united brand S7 Airlines.
